My character is a doctor, just moving to Lansing. If I were interested in renting a space and opening an "office" from which to provide my legal (and my shady "slug-yanker" services to criminals) and hire a PC to staff that office, would that need to go through any kind of approval process?

Any private-practice is already allowed here. We are looking for someone to staff our Riverside Medical Center building, to engage in medical role-play. If that does not suit you and you want to have a more 'private' office, simply contact a New Lansing Real Estate agent and look for a location within the city that fits your needs. Contact Pat Alderson (pat.alderson) or George Monroe (georg.markstein) for that info.

Awesome! Amanda's backstory has her as a cosmetic/reconstructive surgeon (which leads to some interesting RP at times), so she would pursue "privileges" at the hospital. Since she also moonlights as an off-the-books "slug-yanker" for shady types, a private office would be handy.

Sounds great! We have a lot of office space available in the city, primarily in the corporate towers.
