Hi! I'm impressed with the sim's look and build. My main question is this; is New Lansing intended to be primarily a First Responder sim (cops, robbers, firefighters) or a full-freeform RP sim?

Knowing the owners personally, I feel I can answer this question accurately.
The sim is intended for freedom to RP what you would like(so long as it abides by the rules).
While there is an emphasis on the emergency services, I feel as though I can say this is purely because they are essential services to be offered anywhere.
I have always wanted to see the smaller things operational, such as the restaurants, convenience stores, offices, etc for activity.
If the owners would like to add an official response, I believe this would accurately reflect their ideals.

Yes, John is correct. New Lansing is a free style role-play environment, that supports a private sector. This means, every-kind of work possible. Whether you want to take a government career path with a city municipality, or go into a criminal role, that is your choice. If you want your character to be a blue collar worker, the possibility is there for that. Several businesses in the city are hiring, so stroll around and look for a 'help wanted' ad, or look on our forum here at our job postings! NLN (New Lansing News) also has open employment positions listed with them through there print source.
